Overnight to Apollo Bay
October 2019When the day finally came to leave Port Fairy we couldn't have asked for better weather with blue skies, low swell and a light 10kts of breeze it was perfect sailing conditions. Apollo Bay was about 80 miles away and with our average of 3-4kts this meant we were in for another overnight

Anchoring at Waratah Bay
The sail to Waratah Bay was cold, wet and grey but thankfully uneventful. We had left Phillip Island about 8am and it rained the whole sail only stopping at about 4 in the afternoon as we were entering the anchorage. This was a relatively short sail compared to the last couple as the distance
